Alain Connes

Prof. Alain Connes (* 1. April1947 in Draguignan (Frankreich)) ist ein französischer Mathematiker. Nach seinem Studium an der École Normale Supérieure wurde er Professor Léon Motchane am Institut des haute Étude scientific (http://www.ihes.fr). Er begründete die Nichtkommutativen Geometrie.
